Bajus members demand dissolution of existing board

A group of members of the Bangladesh Jewellers’ Association (Bajus) has demanded dissolution of the existing board and the appointment of an administrator for the association.
They also demanded holding an election to choose people in the leadership roles of the Bajus through the votes of the general members.
They made the call at a press conference held at its old office at Baitul Mukarram Masjid market in Dhaka today.
The jewellers came up with the demand within a month of the fall of Awami League-led government on August 5.
